Oh no?! Family calm with it all? Impromptu garden party (in the snow?)

 

Our side of the couple are fine...they have yet to tell hers. Yes, there'll be some celebrations in a while. Soon as we found out we sent them some bubbly/flowers etc to their hotel.

 

Thanks. They're back tuesday to face the music from her side.

 

Me too, saw the sun and decided to take the bike...a bit chilly in the foggy patches from T/Wells to Worthing first thing but then back to the office in Crowborough via stop offs in Hove, Brighton and Lewes was perfect

 

Me too...had to get the Daytona Reg / Rec replaced under recall, so had an hour blat to Washington and back

 

Just been for a nice 3 mile run, times starting to get better as well done it in 25:03 mins plus theres a big old hill to run up as well so im happy with that

 

I needed some parts made for work machined, and welded stainless steel, I was talking to a friend who works for TR, thought he should know somewhere local, and suggested a small company in Buxted called Nick Wright Engineering, walked in there, in the entrance sits a triumph, and a shed load of cups all related to motor bike racing, heh, made me smile.Quick chat about bikes, he does not race seriously now after a rather bad off and responsibilities

On a side note, he makes a lot of parts specially for bikes and cars, etc.

Anyhow, back to my smiley it gets bigger. He was disappointed as best price he could do was £130-00 each, I have had quotes for £71, (the company who quoted cant do them now (Don't Ask)) but I took some old versions that I thought he maybe able to modify, heh, he can for £35-00 each to give the same item, looking like new, (This is the smiley bit) I got 10 old ones so hence saved nr a grand

 

Bike passing its MOT today!! WOOHOO!

 

Just looked up at the TV as the wife was watching that crap factor thing from the weekend and OH MY...GWEN STEFFANY LOOKING SOOOOOO HOT!

 

Thought i was getting chatted up by some 19 year old tonight.. Turns out to be one of my students.. Oooops

 

had a good parade in eastbourn, was perfect weather for it then went on the bike after which was equally as good

 

Seeing Jackie's face light up when a new Dyson arrived, you'd have thought she had a new grandchild .

I just noticed that you can just about see the back of my bald head in the banner!

 

Hubby finally bought a run-around bike (Kawasaki ER6N).

So I finally get MINE back!!!
