Out last night having a meal with some friends, of course I had to tell them about my Rat intruder, Sue said and you were worried, she told me about a good friend of ours who I have not seen for a few months.

He is a serious fisherman, spent many nights out fishing, and the other night while doing a night session at borough beech reservoir ( I think it was there). During the night he got out of his tent to do something not sure if it was a bite or peee, but got back in tent, zipped it up, back in his sleeping bag to go back to sleep, all this was with a torch, turns torch off and soon after all of a sudden he said I had the seering pain on the side of my face, he put his hand there and something big and hairy was attached to the side of his face, a Fox had attacked him, bit him on the face and would not let go, he could not get it off his face and had to press its nose really tight to stop it breathing, it let go and he managed to get it out of his tent. How I dont know, but he relised once he got a light on he was bleeding everywhere, so drove 25 miles home to Uckfield Hospital, they sent him on his way to Haywards Heath I think, and after 27 stitches, they said he was really lucky as it bit through his nose and cheek, and just under his eye close to losing eye.

Apparently think it will hit the sun news paper sometime soon

Stuff that, makes my rat episode rather small, glad I got rid of it though that night could not sleep with it in the bedroom my nose is quite big, sure that be his first attempt of a meal.
