Seeing hubby like it's Christmas morning all cause his new fan-dangled, not released yet, new custom designed gaming laptop arrived.....

He was actually jumping up and down. Now I won't see him for a week while he sets it up. By the sound of some of the threads on here, I know some of you will share his joy :giggle:

Boys and their (other) toys!!! LOL

    Oh hell yeah!

I got myself a new gfx card recently, pre overclocked but they never do it properly so had to nudge it up a little more :p

Got my new number plate today, with a ghost image of a GSXR logo behind the letters. Looks cool, probably illegal, but who cares?? :D

    Oops.

Turmoil was all tucked up back in the garage by the time it started raining. I was about to water the garden when it started, so it saved me a job.......more SMILING!

Surviving the first day of my new job. Especially as I went to the wrong building this morning, at the other end of town, before I realised I was not at the right place and would now be late before I'd even done a day's work lol!!

Finding theres an excellent cross country route by bike from me to Eastbourne hosp (where my mum will be for a while) via Wessons, which makes visiting her even more worthwhile.

Just so happens you find a great trail leading to where your mum is in hospital... Sounds like a jogger finding the body to me!

    Hope she's okay, dude.

Well, clearly. But I'm going to reassemble it for now and work on the 'other' parts in the meantime :p At least until I sell the Triumph and get a cruiser to modify (In the vain hope that I'm able to ride some point in the future...).

A cruiser could be the way to go mate, but a lot of em are very heavy. You gonna go for an auto /manual hydraulic centrestand like the yanks have on Goldwings?

Weight is an advantage, low CoG and high weight means the percentile ratio of bike to rider is higher making it less tippy. Wide bars mean wide stabilisers, and low lean angle means less upwards clearence needed too, they can deploy from under the rear of the frame (probably) meaning no lever on the actuator, this in turn means I can run a massive torque, short stroke, slow(ish) motor and still get fast deployment.

This was essentially the mk.1 idea I had before getting all crazy and buying sports bikes :p
Unfortunately in the UK I don't feel upright bikes are viable, road surfaces and cambers are too unforgiving for the most part. Plus I can't get the bloody thing out the garage :(
