Not risking it. I would strongly advise you aren't so freaking stupid as to risk it either. What is done cannot be undone....please....take a warning from an old biker

oh i am that freaking stupid :p i will replace the tyre as soon as i can . The idea is that once the rubber has volcanised it's as good as new, i won't be risking it for long as new brake pads should be in the hornet later today then that will be the bike of choice until a new tyre is fitted to the R6

    it's a balance of risks
on one side you have to run up what could happen should the tyre fail :( but that can happen to a good tyre to.
on the other side you have to think what would happen if i didn't get the chance to ride and therefore unwind :fume::fume::fume::fume:

If the hole is central then you've got no worries using a plug, assuming it's the proper ones ie. tyre off, drill hole, plug with massive head pushed in from the back, vulcanised and refitted. As Tom says, they're bonded into the rubber.

    You worry too much :p

So... Earlier today the guests had gone home, the wife chilling out (she was feeling a bit under the weather) and as I was thinking about getting out on the bike for little blast to Rye, when the wife turns and says..."Why dont you go out on the bike for a bit?" So naturally I said I may just well do so only to look out of the window to see that it was just starting to rain! Bo11ox! Sods law really! Its not been heavy rain but consistant for the past couple of hours so stuck in doors watching Hitch!

    Wasn't Tom's an "emergency fix"?
I like worrying, it is part of being a parent, if I had nothing to worry about, I would worry about that!!:giggle::giggle::giggle:

Do you turn green and smash things up if you can't unwind? :ner:

Right, time for my rant, Got a tax rebate a few months ago and wondering/hoping it would go in on its own with my wage packet, well it didnt suprise suprise, so now i have to go through forms and forms it seems just to get my money BUT this is what annoys me the most if its the other way round and you owe them money they take it straight out your wages, not a day late or without even asking... WHAT THE F**# but to make it harder to get the money that they took in the first place they make you fill in form after form send it through the post, and to do it online you have to post off for something as well. not a happy chap about this... Okay rant over time to relax *breaths slowly in, and then slowly out*
