It takes a certain kind of mind to consider putting a 360HP, 10200cc, 9Cyl, 4T, 18V, 1.5KG/HP, 904Nm Torque, Super-Charged, Turbo-clutch radial, into a Goggomobil. Or perhaps that should be putting the car around the engine...

If I didn't need the rear seats for the chair, maybe.

Mini is sadly stuck under a cover at the Batcave since going into hospital. Can't really move about much at the moment from leg cramps so it's all come to a rather annoying stop, what with the dash, boot, headlights and such sitting here waiting for fitting. Plus the new valve guides and die grinder ready to attack the head with.
Plan is to run the A series with the modified head (ideally) and it's current set up for now, then work towards an engine conversion. Maybe a K series Rover, possibly a D series Honda, or purely for ease of conversion a Micra / Saxo engine (they make a turbo supercharger one apparently). Either way the end result is planned at about 135whp, should be more than sufficient for an exciting daily drive.
Tempted to go down to 10" wheels too, but traction could become an issue, tyres are cheap enough though

10" wheels? you would need to fit cooper S front disc assemblies, and with that power you WOULD have traction problems, nice idea though[IMG]

Yeah, it's a bit pricey to do once you factor in the 7.5" / 7.9" set up and wheels etc. Plus higher speed stability would be effected, maybe I'll get the Revo's banded up to 8" wide... Just to help traction of course.

Two negative things - 1) I suspect that the clutch assembly will take up the remainder of the room in that little 'car' and 2) the burger on the BBQ now tastes 'interesting'.

However on a positive note, the car is now sure to have nice light steering :).

More worryingly, it brings back memories of my childhood as my parents owned a Goggo :red:

There was a reserve tap located on the rear parcel shelf, and because the car was so small you could lean over and turn the tap whilst still driving, and yet it was a full 4 seater.
