    What is in its future? Is this going to be the base for something such as I'm planning?

    Strip it, powdercoat all steel and some alloy bits black. Paint everything else black. Check engine, carbs n driveshaft. Paint engine, black. If zorst rusted through, make new ones. Make feet forward controls. Insure, tax and ride it.

    Free tax innit? over 25 years old.
    Going to take a bit of work getting it on the road methinks. But it has awesome possibilities. The older VN's are pretty rock solid.

    I think it,s all there. Just need to make sure engine is ok and drive mechanism sound. Forks aren,t pitted or leaking. Hopefully , it,s mostly cosmetic. Finchy!!!
    No radical plans for it yet. Just get it on the road and see if my knees prefer the feet forward. Riding position. Who knows one day it could become a trike.???

    Aye, you gotta pass both my places to get to Leigh. ;)

    Not sure if I'll be working on the car or not - depends on my new goodies arriving, welder won't be here until next week but hopefully getting cracking on that soon. If I'm not working on the Mini I'll come along, sure.
