Yaeh I know what you are saying Rob but it was very cheap and they took two weeks to post it despite saying 2-3 days! So not good feedback from me.

The locum doctor not insisting that I explain my full medical history in relation to my deafness and simply agreeing to refer me to the specialist with only the minimum i.e. three questions, which I think were more due to his curiosity than anything else. Shame he's a locum.

Are you sure he only asked three questions, and it wasn't that you were looking the other way? ;)

I think that's the first deaf joke that's ever made me laugh out loud! :rofl2:

Or at least the first one I've heard.

RC Copters are bleeding hard...the smaller they are the harder they are to fly...just make sure you have lots of spares...cos when you crash...you will need them.

I think u should teach Sue to fly it...then you can fit a camera to it and have her fly it overhead whilst pillion...:)

Well my training last night was on a "fixed pitch" heli as I`m STILL waiting for the spares for my "collective pitch" which was crash damaged when I bought it. As soon as I get them, I`ll be switching training to that.

Perhaps you could explain all when we get into our monthly techy discussions on't first Wednesday of March (7th?). I'll have to miss it, I'm afraid, but it's nothing to do with my ability to stay awake during discussions of a variable pitch nature..!

My doctors has an audiologist come in once a month so instead of having to wait for a hospital referral I have an appointment on the 7 March. On the other hand all he has to do is poke and test my ears and then refer me on to someone else!

Spent a fantastic hour or so at the Six Bells at lunchtime, reminiscing with an old mate from over twenty five years ago.....blimey......I'd forgotten how much fun it used to be hooning around on the bikes!
