    Can be a real pain being trapped into a service contract for warranty reasons, although from personal main dealer experience (yeah, THAT experience) it's not worth the paper written on. Unless you happen to have a major problem within the warranty period and let's face it any real issues are identified by the 1st proper service, then I'm more and more of the thinking it's just not worth the extra cost for a stamp in a book.

    Not to mention I make nicer tea!

    The only reason I use the place I bought my bike from for the services is because they threw 2 years worth in for free! Will certainly be changing once this is up...think I normally get charged £35p/h at garages round my way.

    what was the name of the bloke at the garage on the A22 ? you know the one who thought your bike would blow up within 10,000 miles :hah: he was £25.00 / hour and has a place on the 22

    Someone recommended him, but not needed to get anything done, so not used him as yet. Is he not any good?

    no idea i haven't used him either, talked the talk but was a bit opinioned on certain bikes ( ie hates triples ) loved busas might be worth trying one day but at the moment Leila and i are doing a fine job of erm something :haha:

    Clearly not in the know if he doesn't like the triple engine, it's like old boots!
    Get the feeling I should really move south if you lot can't find a competent mechanic down there. Maybe I can look for one :p

    Either that or Tom, you'll have to get your hands working on other bikes.
