It was yesterday but am still fuming. Asked to swap a few of my hours around at college due to having no one to help with my dog for a few weeks. Got a very snotty email back telling me I had agreed at interview to work 9-5 (no I didn't, never came up, all they said was how flexible they were!) and then proceeded to infer that I should be indebted to them for giving me a job at all. Yeah right, degree qualified, 20 years experience, now on just above the minimum wage and being shot down every time I try to use some initiative!!! I'll give them indebted....where the sun doesn't f"*^*ng shine!!!! To top it off, I replied first thing in the morning, no response, then went to office at 4pm to chat to sender of said email only to find everyone in middle and senior management had gone home!
Managed to refrain from telling them where to shove the job but don't think it'll be long till I do!!

I would have sent them an email saying I came to see you at 4pm but you had finished for the day! That would stirred the mix a little! Keep yer chin up :)

Don't I remember some comments about my riding abilities when this happened to me? Happily I have discovered my open Yoshi can is actually quieter than the standard, baffled pipe (according to a man with a very luxuriant growth of beard who is the noise tester at Brands). I carry a spare baffle, though, just in case one of those B.C.s decides that, even though I've swapped my Prodrive Impreza for a GSX-R 750, I'm still worth stopping in case I might be considering doing something naughty.

Do you know how loud your bike is sans baffle? You may be able to avoid spending another £25.95 incl VAT!

the way the avoid this happening again you should keep your baffle in a safe place..Mine is in the top draw of my spares box and I've kept it safe since i bought the yoshi pipe and managed to never lose it while out riding..

And now the bike is spluttering on start up... great. Hopefully it'll sort itself out as it spluttered on the first, second and fourth time but not third. There was half an hour between second and third.

    Makes a bloody change. ;)

Thing was, he was just moving it out of the way as we were getting some stuff out of the garage. Good thing he's a mechanic and should be able to sort the spluttering.

Probably knocked the tps off, unplug the battery for 10mins (assuming your alarm is behaving now) then start it up and let it idle for 5-10mins, should straighten itself out.

My gripe today was relatively simple jobs taking massive amounts of time or being unable to be done because of previous 'repairs' on the car, coupled with a pair of incompetent f*ckwits, who've lied to me repeatedly about work carried out on the car, plus finding the NS tie rod is bent like a banana - explains why the car drifts left at least.

Oh and I've hurt my hand :(
