I know how you feel mate. Just upgraded to Win7 64 myself from XP which means every bit of software I have needs installing again from scratch

Itunes shouldn`t need to reimport all the files. Just install it & then point it to your saved sound files on your hard drive. Mine didn`t take too long to reimport just over 3200 tracks.

if your using older software be aware some of it may not run properly in win7 and you may have to tweak the compatibility options on the .exe/shortcut link . as for itunes just copy the whole folder , dump it back in the new "music" folder and itunes will deal with the rest

Good call there Deano. The biggest problem I have is that I went from XP to 7 (as a good chunk of users will do) & have no upgrade path, hence all programs will need to be reinstalled anyway. Luckily enough most of my most used stuff will, only got to upgrade my film editing stuff which could do with being brought up to date anyway.

biggest issue you will find is that programs designed for xp automatically assume admin level control , as xp was nice and secure that way ;) . win vista/7 dont automatically allow admin rights to programs so somtimes you have to set some options to "run as admin" nothing major but annoying if your not aware of it. tbh even vista to 7 being the same OS really the upgrade doesnt always run smoothly so i always do a clean install.

Taking the daytona out and noticing the warning light went out. Success at last with the temp sensor problem. :)

Cleaning the corroded contacts on the temperature sensor, which maybe Laguna's could have done, before connecting the replacement sender in the first place appears to have done the trick.

Unless I've missed something major it looks like I'm going to clear a decent chunk of my overdraft this month. :D

Mind you, I'm dreading my credit card bill.

No he should have been awarded a medal! He saw the flock of birds in front of him but had 1.5 seconds before they hit taking out both of his engines. He had only climbed to just under 3000ft and wouldnt have been able to glide a 70 ton aircraft to either of the nearby airports and was over the city. He had no choice but to land in the river, the only open flat space space big enough. The aircraft could have flipped at any point in the landing but he held it perfectly with no way of reducing speed other than using the water. EVERYONE survived with very minor injuries.

No Idea but the bloke who delivered planes for a living wont be doing for much longer...Filled up on fuel and didnt calculate it correctly, was 10 miles short of his destination and had to ditch it in the sea! Wasnt even his plane he was delivering to the bloke that just bought it!

Being treated to tickets to "Totem" last night by my son! This is the latest Cirque du Soleil production - despite what you may have read from assorted grumpy critics in various newspapers, it is quite stunning. The artistry and spectacle are extraordinary, as you might expect, but the skills on display are ...I am a little short of superlatives. If you have never seen a Cirque production, but can beg, borrow or steal tickets to sit anywhere in the auditorium, you will not be sorry! It is wonderful. I know the ticket prices are ruinous (how does a student save up enough to buy them for himself and his Mum & Dad?) but do try to go, everyone.

And I then took him and his Mum to one of the North African restaurants I used to know on Gloucester Road - my diet will be bread and water for the next week :( because it cost so much money, but in this case, I don't mind.

Sorry to write about costs and money in both these laudatory paragraphs, but scraping together the £s to do stuff like this is hard for most of us. My mortgage payment can wait...

I went to Cirque du Soleil a few years back with my mum and sisters and can agree that it really is spectacular. I'd love to go again. Glad you had a good time.
