Mate of mine has a great trike, huge tyres, v noisy, War of the worlds paint job & seats 3. Thing is he still has to drive/park it like a car but wear waterproofs. Good in the warm/dry but otherwise...

As was pointed out to me when I was looking at a trike, Worst bits of a car combined with the worst bits of bikes = trikes.

Love the way they're unique being mostly homemade & stand out, but not for me either.

I totally get that they have to be parked like cars blah blah blah......but better than being closed in, IF you are used to only riding bikes. I know of a fair few people who ride trikes either because they can no longer manage a bike (injuries etc.,) or some that were not able to for one reason or another get a bike licence, but had a car licence. :) <---- for Les so he does not think I am getting stressed! :lol2:

Looks like 3/4 of us also use cars, I expected it to be even higher as I had 'a bike only' when aged 16-19. Lately biking seems (to me) to be mostly for those with money to spare, what with the cost of clobber, insurance & the initial cost of the thing itself. I'm guessing the average age of us forum users is about mid 30's-40?

Not exactly with money to spare..........I give up other stuff to ensure I always have a bike on the road these days, went too long without due to offspring and the necessity for a car.
Average age hey? Glad I am not in the average................again! :haha:

Reckon I seriously underestimated the average ages having looked harder.
