After a cold call yesterday from a PPI clawback firm and another PPI today, the cold caller from ''pc helponline'' today was the last intrusion. I managed to keep him chatting for 25 mins (ok, its sad i know, but i am unemployed) before he told me to fix it myself and hung up . I put him on hold for 5 mins also said my pc crashed twice so i had to reboot. Said the battery went flat so then had to search for p-supply which took another 5 mins, also had to search for imaginary glasses in order to see.
Revenge is Sweeeet.

 

Ha, ha, ha! I followed the link RW so thoughtfully included above (thanks v much ) and was informed by BT that I do not have a BT line. I may copy that response and send it to their head office, demanding repayment of my telephone bills since 2002 when we moved in. I have kept them all (sad, I know) and can demonstrate to anyone that BT have been billing me all that time.

I now wonder what it's like having download and upload speeds at such dizzying speeds. I could probably watch U-Tube and i-Player and all these modern marvels.

 

Not yet available in my area it seems and the current offerings are the same sort of speed I already have...

My Cold calls today - a PPI person who I acted totally dumb - sorry what is a PPI - Oic you want me to buy something -- Oh I understand , yes I did have a short fall on my endowment - Ok hold on while I search for the info ........ The other one was a lady from SWITZERLAND <? with an Indian accent - whos company have a patent for some skin cream and I have been selected to have some .......... I then had to explain who Clinique is as I am the UK Area rep and I could negotiate maybe some sales to her company - she hung up .........

My whats made me smile today though -- is, had an amble in garden with a cig and noticed the DAFFS are poking through !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think we are gonna be severly punished , weather wise, soon -we have had it good for tooo long . :-(

 

I still have my summer hanging baskets out with the Petunias and Geraniums going strong. Now that's better than talking about peoples private hairy bits!!!

 

Hectic day at work, but now I'm off till Tuesday!
