Mallory Park !

Hello all,

Yesterday me, my brother and two mates went to Mallory for a track day. I was heartbroken to find out that the GSXR 600 that I'd hired had been crashed a few days earlier and was no longer available so they offered me a ducati 848 Evo at no extra cost !!!

The morning sessions nearly resulted in me losing my deposit as the track was wet, the dam thing was a handful. In the afternoon the track dried out and I managed to get to grips with the bike.

I wouldn't go out and buy that particular bike but it is with no doubt, an excellent piece of kit. The noise it makes is just unreal.

Couple of hundred quid to tumble along on someone elses 848 isn't that bad in the scheme of things

They do make a wonderful noise, don't they.

 

£690, but you are right. To do that on your own 848 would be a whole lot more !

The noise is incredible, there was a 1198 there as well, that sounded just as good.
