My next door neighbour was a serving officer for about 30 years in traffic & is now "Controller of motorways" or some such now he has left the force. Quite often in an "Over the fence" chat he has recounted many things he has had to deal with either while on traffic duty or what he see`s on CCTV & every time I say "I honestly don`t think I could deal with that part of your job Chris."

I have always respected the men & women that go to work knowing that every day they may have to deal with something like this, even more so after speaking to Chris & having read that article.

made me feel a bit numb,
full respect to the services and what they have to deal with.
as the officer said "we close the road for a good reason"
