What have you done to your bike today?

    Just finished fitting some TechSpec snakeskins (similar to Stompgrips).

    Spent ages trying to line them up the same on both sides of the tank; used half a roll of masking tape. Got them more or less the same - eventually. Very sticky and hopefully they won't fall off.

    Prefer the black look to the clear Stompgrips, and if there's any air bubbles (which I don't think there are) you can't see them.

    Should help my poor wrists now I can grip the tank with my knees a bit better.

    Mine peeled after 2 years but went back on ok with silicon. Painful when wearing shorts though!:(
    Fitted larger clutch slave cyl for ease of use.

    Thought the name Megawatt was just fer fun...didn't realise you actually controlled the lightning:eek:. Can you send a couple of bolts to some people I know?

    thanks love but i think i have solved the problem and had delivered today 560 bolts of various sizes for the CBF ... not bad i thought

    27 quid for all the bolts for my bike in stainless steel ... now go on someone tell me i was robbed

    just had my power commander,power box,xtre,quick shifter,ohlins front springs & valves,dhr just dynoed it it runs so smooth and pulls like a train.
    oh had two new avon storms fitted.fith set in two and half years.of to france (rue) tomorrow, so looking forward to this run.praying for sun.:)

    Washed the bike for the first time since I got it. Came up nice and shiney :)

    And ordered a gold powdercoated radiator guard, a set of those short Pazzo 'Hong-Kong-copy' brake levers (gold), a new paddock stand, and am bidding on a carbon exhaust that I plan to stubby. Also need to change the brake fluid. So that's next weekend taken up.

    lol yep thatll help it go better ;) .. on lighter note red rubber grease arrived this morn so once we get the caliper for your bike then will rebuild it , and get that back on. then the bike might actually go lol... gonna strip down the gs's caliper sunday if i get done with the gate posts early. might even do the zx aswell ;)
