Good to see everyone tonight. Although I wondered who the guy with specs was to start with & then realised it was Tom... with hair! :)

A good turnout. Shame my burger didn't quite live up to expectations but it was fab to see everyone and a good laugh was had.

I suspect the oil in the fryer wasn't up to temperature. All the portions of chips were lacking time exposed to heat; even my Tiger Prawns were a wee bit soggy under their tummies. However I'm very grateful to @shrimpee for a significant portion of her plateful of Ham & Eggs :)

And there was something a little odd about the @lammyR6 burger. Its granularity and unusual taste suggest its origin may not have been bovine. [ahem].

On the plus side, I really enjoyed my chilli. Obviously I regretted not bringing my Secret Santa present of hot sauce, but it was very decent indeed. Great credit should go to the new young chap behind the bar who took my pudding order and did not turn a hair when asked to put a slice of cheddar with my apple pie. Good man... The Harveys was good 'n all. that wasn't enough to result in a Happy Panel Man, imagine how happy I was after an evening's banter along with an occasional Lammy Hug!

The glow has not disappeared yet!
