I have just been offered a nearly new KTM 390 if it's something that would interest you ?

Not the bike in the picture but the same model. 15 plate with less than 300 miles on it.

    Even I am tempted

I took a gamble with my Sprint ST, a couple of friends had had them in the past, but I went and sat on a few bikes to see what felt comfortable for me before i could ride one.

If you can get as much road time in on a 125 as possible while not having training! it will make mastering the manoeuvres a lot easier for the Mod 1

I have Friday's off if ever you want someone slower to ride with,
I only passed a couple of years ago, do get out some afternoons, it's also nice just to know someone's going to be at a stop, just to meet have a coffee and ride on elsewhere rather than a designated route just to gain confidence
And well done, congratulations by the way

Umm, the Tigers a lot taller, more top heavy and got more oomph - but as they say, it only goes as fast as you twist the throttle!
For me it was all to do with being able to ride it all day without crippling myself and get plenty of luggage on it.
I had a 125 when I was 17, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and I bought another to commute on for a few months prior to my test.
I wouldn't say it was a huge leap, no. Obviously it was a bit worrying for a few days but then you don't notice it, the Triumph is so capable at so many things - I commute on it, I've been to Spain, I take it into town to avoid parking problems and it even fits through my back gate without problem. I love it!
I've ridden pretty much everything in the Triumph range and bikes are just bikes - it doesn't seem to matter how big or fast it is, as long as you use your common sense you can ride anything. Just a personal preference thing really....

after passing i went for the gladius sfv, 650 but lost my confidence with it do ended up going down a a honda cb500f, which has given me back my confidence and i love to ride, now got to the stage where i want and feel i could go bigger

Hey guys sorry I haven't been on here for a good long while, so I passed my bike test back in may last year and now I am on the hunt for a bike. But I am getting a mortgage so that has to come first. How are we all ?
