    Guys,

Normally you buy a U bolt, C bolt, Square bolt for a trailer and drill holes to fit.

Problem is i already have a load of holes in my trailer and ideally would like to find 3 square bolts with an M8 thread which are exactly 110mm inside diameter from the centre of the bolt thread at either end.

Does anyone know somewhere that will do this?

    Cheers
    Neil

This is the sort of thing I am after but it must measure 110mm from centre of thread to the other centre of thread.

You'll probably have to make it shouldn't be to difficult, could you not use lengths of flat steel with 8mm holes at 110mm centres then a couple of 8mm bolts & nuts

    Ok thanks Phil.

I think I am ok now as needed to get sorted for Friday's trip to Bedford.

Basically i used Eye Bolts (didn't even know they existed) that go into one hole so have used two on each hole. I think they should be strong enough but do let me know if you think they wont be.

Also, I have ordered a piece of Galvanised Steel Angle Iron that I will attach to the underside of each ramp so that I can then put another couple of eye bolts in the middle so the rear tyre down can hook down in-between both bikes.

Once complete i will post a picture but hopefully that sounds ok?

I'll soon find out when I get to bedford with or without two bikes....
