    http://www.driving.co.uk/news/new-road-markings-mean-slow-down-for-average-speed-traps/

You have to love the way one company wants to put them on the faster roads as there are less junctions, surely that means it's a safer road and doesn't need them ?

And the other company states how road markings make people slam their brakes on ? so if the makers of these cash cows think they make people drive dangerously then why the f==k are they being used on our roads under some fake safety thing ????

Give it time and I am sure all cars will be fitted with a black box from the factory and directly linked via sat nav. No need for cameras and the tickets could be sent out automatically. Big brother is watching and his grip is getting tighter and tighter!

If they were actually interested in limiting your speed they could use the satnav method linked to your vehicle's speed limiter, they won't because it is too profitable to fine

You are right. I think that will come, but not for a while yet. they will leave that until the roads are so overcrowded it is impossible to speed. Then they can show themselves as a caring sharing government.

when my son had the ' compulsory ' black box fitted to his car I was talking to the fitter to did actually say that they are fitting them to most cars now and eventually you won't be able to get insurance with out one and this is following on to motorcycles.
