Not much sympathy judging by the comments on this article. Sorry for whoever owned the bike and now has to sort out the insurance claim.

Just got round to watching this. Excellent footage Neil, really captured the flavour of the trip.
    Roll on next year

Getting out on the pan for no other reason than because I could albeit for a ride cut short by totally unpredictable weather. ..just need to encourage the limbs to be more amicable for more of the same

yes it was a good trip wasn't it......I didn't do any editing unfortunately other than adding a title but there was so much of it I thought I would just post it all up.

Maybe we could do a day trip in France in a month or two?

My R6 is back :D New cam chain and tensioner, serviced and carbs balanced so it should feel great to ride again :D that could be a few days away though :(

Still now when I look out my window at least there is one bike sitting in the space that once contained two rather than just an empty space :(

I thought you were in double figures at least ...oh, unless you meant complete bikes rather than loose assemblages of parts! But at least if they're all black, all the parts are interchangeable, I assume. :barefoot:

only had two road bikes parked outside.

I still have two more complete bikes in the conservatory to sit and stare at but both are track bikes

Then there are a couple of other bikes in the conservatory that are just a little less complete well maybe even complete just not in one piece. Plus the one in the shed that is in lots of pieces

A pair of bright pink casts. One on each wrist. I wanted purple, with sparkles, but they'd run out. Never mind, the pink is very cheerful looking. Also a firm date for getting the pinning and plating done. (next Thursday) Every step is getting me closer to being back on the road again :)

And I've fractured my fibula head and I've got whiplash. And I have to go and have stuff pinned and plated next week.
But apart from that, I'm feeling ever so much better :)

Dear Beelady: can you put on a Devonian accent and utter the immortal words, "Prupper Jaab"?

Because it certainly sounds as if you are a very thorough person :)

Off to get some new metalwork today. At this rate I'll be worth a fortune in scrap value.

Better not write that in public! There are some weirdos out there! On the plus side, you'll never need to watch the Weather Channel ever again. Just ping us your mobile number so we can get weather updates from time to time, please. Maybe a new Weather Page on this site?

Seriously, though, hope it goes alright :)
