I have my kids this weekend so no bike time for me but I had to drop some parts I had used at work off for DHL to lose send back to our repair vendor so I decided to take the TZR250.

What made me smile was the fact that yesterday I put a decent set of avon am26's on it and good god the bike is transformed. It is staggeringly nimble now. Tiny push on the bar and it just drops into corners and gives me so much confidence in cornering.

That little bike never fails to make me smile but today it was on another level. Very fast, VERY agile and just bonkers fun:whoo:

Went out for A ride today without you and stinky, ah I thought no oil on my visor today, how wrong was I we ended up following another red & white Yamaha stinky. After we got rid of him I ended up with an oil coated visor from A different source, just cleaned it all off brilliant day though. :hotw:

Fantastic, however, as you well know, there is only one stinky. You wait until you see how quick the little terror is now in the corners. Seriously, it is nuts what I can do with it now, just feels like it is stuck to the road and can really chuck it about.
I will be out on it with you soon so stinky can splatter your visor again!!

I bet John was cursing :lol2:

Oh, me againnnnnnnnnnnnn, and more boring football tales. Got a text today from son number ones football academy. He has been selected for the first time to represent the academy in a match tomorrow

Things seem to be moving very quick for him now (and me). We have a very exciting future but it is also filled with mixed feelings as youth football at this level is very cut-throat and I have warned him that as fast as great things can happen, also not so great things can come out of the blue.

He was at his footy presentation day today and scored an amazing overhead kick while messing about, apparently - as I was looking in the other direction and missed it

What made me smile most was the thought that all the oil that was flying about came from that bottle you very kindly gave me last summer. I just wanted to show my appreciation and share it with you.
It was a lovely day out though. Just the right sort of day to travel 70 miles for breakfast.

Hahahaha, oh man I remember that bit. Apple pie will never be the same again!! At least I don't like hair gel!!!
(Granted I lack a full head of luscious locks).
For the hair gel reference just google "something about mary hair gel".

Due to lack of animal minders (no problem with dog, cat, ducks and hens, but why doesn't anyone want to mind the bees?) I wasn't able to go to Assen with Acessengineer and Phil Read, but I did get to hear Colin Edwards' bike starting up first thing this morning, via the marvels of the mobile 'phone. Awesome!
Not as good as being there, but I still enjoyed it

Awesome Emma, I got a phone call from mr Accessengineer allowing me to hear the delights of Alvaro Bautista's Honda. Maybe next year I will hear it in person!!

Do you have bees, too? I am trying to learn how to manage a top bar hive this year. So far it's been a bit of an adventure. The bees apparently haven't read the same book, but at least they're still alive.

Best of luck getting it onto the back of your Hornet. I shall watch and learn.:scared:

I think we should book the time off now. They're having a great time and it was a very easy ride to get there. I shall start saving up a soon as possible.

nope i just have a hornet but thats pretty easy to look after, leave it outside and once in a while spank it. I'm guessing it's much the same with bees just less petrol :D
