Relaxed Bury Hill , Sunday 16th. Meet Wesson's 1100

Me n Jamie( Hunter) enjoyed our pootle around the Marsh so much that we are planning a long (for me) rideout to Bury Hill on Sunday. Meeting at Wessons at 1100, leaving at 1200.

I've got family over Sunday afternoon so wont be going to Bury Hill but may get out for an hour or so in the morning so will head for Wessons if dry.

 

Sorry but planning on going to Brighton to support my bro-in law running the half marathon

 

Not that it helps you lovely people....weather up here is nice, sunny with bugga all wind. If I wasn't still unpacking.....

Need to find the local bike meeting places of course.....other than Matlock Bath.

 

Just driven home from Hastings. 5 degrees C, salt on main roads. Slowish ride to Wessons for brunch, then decide if Bury Hill is a goer .

 

Still ice on the roads in the shade that weren't salted..

 

Hmm Which bike to ride though?

 

If you go to bury hill take the fastest one, great route/roads speedy bends and great overtaking

 

They both Fast ish, also note topic relaxed lol,

Hope you all had a good ride in the sun, not enough time this morning so only a quick ride down to B&Q unfortunately!

 

Had a great day on the bike. Met Hunter at mine and took the Etchingham road to Wessons. Good turn out and breakfast. Had another look at a possible purchase and then me n Hunter headed for the Car Wash cafe to meet a few SMRG peeps. Left there and took some good roads to Rye and the Camber road to Oasis cafe. Left there and rode to Appledore, Tenterden and the B road route through Wittersham and Iden. Back home at 1630 to desalt the bikes.

 

Yeah by time we got to car wash cafe it was closed for private party, managed to get a coffee out of them, not a bad day, bit tired, still best weather for a long time
