Sending her in on Tuesday for a couple of weeks to get her winter mods done and likely to paddock her for the winter once she comes back tbh.

She is quite spongy on the brakes so having a full set of Hel racing lines fitted front and rear, also having shorty levers, black screen, renthal grips, flush fit led indicators front, led indicators rear, crash bungs front, r&g barends, billet round front footrests and a tube brake reservoir on the rear.

Gixer mid range is not very traffic or roundabout friendly at low speeds so renthal +2 sprocket going on the back and renthal -1 going on the front to improve this.

Suspension also needs dialing in so having front and rear set up, she is too hard on the front so feels hard front and wallows a bit on the rear if pushed so needs sorting. You know yourself mate, nothing worse than arse and nose being out of sinc.

See you mention a Gixer, have you seen Suzuki are doing a recall on the master cylinder on 04 on models ?

apparently the internals suffer from surface corroision, causing a gas to appear in the brake fluid and hence spongy brakes

Never had a problem on the 3 gixers i've owned, but then i change the fluid regulary

Yeah, saw the recall, mine is an 03 so not too fussed. I change all my fluids bi-annually and not seen any probs so far so no worries.
