Taking the bike out for a quick blatt, end point 'Riverview retro cafe, Ashford, about 11-ish. Anybody going that way?
Been stirred to ride, Reet's painting the bathroom and rains coming tomorrow.

Yep, he's right, never know what to call the place, it's got American diner on the signboard. Cemetery road, right opposite the Holiday inn. Nice gaff for a meet up and does good coffee. No Bikers there this morning.
Last bit of the A28 coming from Canterbury just before you hit the A20 next to Ashford.

Oh right now I know where you are, but me thinks you would need really good eyesight to view the river from there. lol
It was muted one time to have the monthly forum meet there to make it easies for us easterners to get too but nothing came of it.

Think that was cos there was little or no response from the Eastenders. We could always have alternate meets if there was enough interest? Could even be something to talk about on Wed instead of Smeg's lovelife. ;)

Would that make me an Easterner from the deep Souf? Yeah agree good halfway point of a meet.

As Les says it was mooted but there was no interest expressed at the time from those living more easterly...

also there is the issue of finding a decent venue that has enough indoor seating if the weather is pants, that is open in the eve .. quite surprising how many places shut up early.. the diner in ashford is great if its nice weather but pretty small inside.
As per the comment made the other day about rideouts, if nobody show any interest then these things wont happen.
