[aug 10, 2013] Secb Summer Bbq 2013 (10/11th August 2013) (marden, Kent)

    As this nice weather is supposed to go on into August, it seems a shame to waste it so we will be holding a summer BBQ for all members of SECB & their families on the weekend of 10/11th August.

    I have secured the use of a field that is big enough for not only bike & car parking off road but also for camping so attendees will be able to have a drink or 3 & not worry about having to drive/ride home the same night. There will be a portaloo on site & also access to a cold water supply so we won`t be having to invade our hosts house. We have also been granted permission for a generator (Thanks to Megawatt for supplying this) so we can have power for some music provided its not running too late into the night as there is a house directly opposite the site.

    Food will be provided but you will have to bring your own drinks (& tent if you plan on staying overnight)

    The map below isn`t quite correct so please click THIS LINK for a more precise location. There will be signage from both directions on Underlyn Lane & also opposite the site entrance.

    Please add your name to the list below if you plan to attend & also the number of guests if you are bringing any so we can make sure there is enough for everyone to eat.

    THE IMPORTANT BIT

    We need to know numbers NO LATER than 8pm on Wednesday 7th August so that the food can be purchased. If you can`t confirm you are coming until after this time, you will have to bring some extra food.

    I hope that as many as possible of you can attend this event & if successful, who knows, it may become an annual event like the rally.

    It is/was Dad`s birthday on the 11th so suspect family lunch on Sunday but would very much hope to join in
