There are so many, mainly american muscle cars but will happily settle for the car I have coming soon.....150bhp.....fit a wheelchair in the back without dismantling......pretty economical.....reliable.....not expensive to fix, nor insure and can drive it in the rain, unlike most muscle cars! Tis a boring Vectra sri estate....I have to admit to a soft spot for these little blighters :D

I`ve always had a soft spot for Jags & was gutted when I had to get rid of mine. Was only an S-Type 3.0SE but the fact I kept it for nearly 10years must say something.

Yeah, Micra drivers really are always to be given a wide berth, seem to have taken over from Volvos as the definitive ol' git car.

My Fav Car at the moment I think, heh, not released yet, but my plan is sometime in the next few years, Mercedes A45 AMG, AMG version of the A class. The only down side I see atm is it is still only a 2.0 litre, and I wanted something with more bottom end torque than my S3, although the A45 will have about 30 % more at the bottom end, it is not like a V6 or V8. I like small quick cars understated, this is going to be the smallest quickest thing around :) 350 ish BHP, Sub 5 secs 0-60, not bad for a 2L I guess, reasonably price, good on fuel when driven respectably, AWD so can be driven everyday all year :).

If Money was no object I have no idea really what I would buy, but I guess cars for different times of the year, rather pointless in my view so maybe not

If I had the money I would go for a Porsche 911 classic style and still fast.
I dont have the money and have a focus tdi estate and as said before it does 50mpg and has room for loads of bits in the back. Ok ok I may not be so happy if the other half did not have a Abarth 500 for me to hoon around like a loony when I fancy a play . .

I think with £340,000 my first purchase would be another Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0... I used to have one and I adored it. Sounded like a baby Ferrari (partly because the V6 block shares its roots with Ferrari's V8) and went like the clappers. Then I'd have a Maserati GT for everyday stuff and an Alfa Romeo 8c Competizione for dry days and Sundays. Mmmmmm.

Haha :) yep the 2 litre GTV did have some problems, mostly with thermostat, diff, and rear suspension linkages/bushes

3 litre had none of these problems because it had a different rear suspension set up and a different engine, never broke down, and when I had it on a dyno it was pushing out exactly 220bhp - precisely what it left the factory with 12 years and 93,000 miles before. Man I loved that car.

The 8C is powered by a Ferrari V8 so no issues there either. Now where's my lottery playslip gone...
