A few lanes to avoid in future but eventually got to let loose on dry roads the further south we ventured ending up at Rye .....ride home was brisk with a close shave on the canal road to appledore.
cmon sunshine give us a few more oppertunities to get out ...just gimme a chance to remove half of kent from my bike first. [IMG]

Good to get out today, managed to lose half the rideout within a mile of the start.... maybe they knew that the road (track) Napa lead us down was passable by tractor only!! Happy New Year and see you all on the road in 2013.

Hey I was trying my best :( I don't know the roads round there so I was following the twat nav...the rest of the roads were ok..... In fact it was a good ride...The weather held off and although a little chilly and damp in places, if you stayed on the A roads it was nice and dry....Alexs and Carnage were proper shifting on the old canal road and Alexs was even using his legs ala rossi for air braking :cool:On the way back I thought we might be in trouble with the boys in blue but they left us alone or lost us so was all good. Will post up some vid when i get the chance...

All those who have whinged at me to clean the bike well now you know why I don't, cos you lot seem to always take me somewhere that involves a mud bath.

Still Once back on the real roads, Good Ride, Really enjoyed it, about 130 miles in all :)

Sounds like you had a good ride out today! i had my own ride with a few mates today no where special and we didnt go far, didnt go on many twisty roads but wow.. best ride i've had in a long time. really got the adrenaline going. also luckily for me there was a car that warned me to slow down as the next corner the plod was sat there.. that was lucky!

Dunno how you managed to find any dirt-laden tractor routes??? Granted, the map I posted was grubby in places (for the three miles of lanes through Selling), but everything else was clear when I went through earlier in the morning.

Yes, so I heard. Don't worry - you'll find that the people who moan the most are generally those who contribute the least. ;)

Like you say, at least you tried... and had a good ride in the end.

My only complaint is I now have to clean my bike again ;).

Well done for leading on unfamiliar territory Neil, and thanks for your company everyone.
I'm still not quite sure who "everyone" was supposed to be, but it was good to meet you.

You now have a couple of "home" meeting points from which to lead rideouts from Pete, the two Mickeys and the Oakdene. Gwan, you know you wanna!
