    Last week actually but I have just remembered it! Whilst walking down the road from London Bridge I heard a bike coming so naturally want to see what it was...I still have no idea what it was as I was taken a back by the sight and nothing else...the rider was in T-shirt and jeans...nothing unusual there then? But the rider was a Seikh with no crash helmet (they are allowed due to their religion and the fact that they don turbains) and what can only be described as those saftey goggles you used to wear in metal work! With a pillion, in similar clothing, no goggles but with a video camera in hand filming their journey! :)

    Got a message from ZandF tuning that the rover auto box on the K series should be more than suitable to take the power from remapping the ECU. Now to find one and someone to stuff it in the front of my Mini!

    Just beaten Hastings Borough Council on a parking fine on the Blade.....

    Parked in the Pelham Bike Park (the one on the front) and paid my £1.10 for a days parking.....stuck ticket under petrol cap (thankfully I kept the receipt part) and went on my way. When I returned 2 hours later...ticket had gone and there was a nice Parking Fine STUCK to my screen.

    Appealed the ticket the following day only to be told there was NO amnesty for Motorcycles "It is the Motorcyclist responsibility to ensure the parking ticket is clearly FIXED and displayed". Even having the receipt part of the ticket is not, apparently, proof of purchase (?????)

    Not wishing to let it go...and not being able to afford the £25 fine (£50 if not paid within 14 days) I decided to battle this one. After confirming in writing that I will take it as far as I can they have backed down on a "one-off basis".

    If you do park in Hastings KEEP the receipt part of the ticket!!!

    How the fook do they expect a parking ticket to stay on a bike? The next dishonest biker along could steal it or just some chav having some fun!!!:mad:

    How can you FIX a parking ticket that has no sticky on it?

    Erm, how can you get a receipt WITHOUT buying a ticket? Sounds like someone trying their luck mate. Good on you for sticking it to them!
