Sorry Dave, few things planned for Sat night and after this week I think I'll be needing every hour in bed I can get at the weekend.

Cool - well our plan is to meet you, blast down to Rye and then take a longish run back to Groombridge Place where there is a hot air baloon / Ferrari / Ducati event going on.

I'll probably head off elsewhere from Rye, as that route would take me back home pretty much and don't plan on staying off the bike long except to eat/fill up etc. :D

The Groombridge event starts at 1pm so plenty of time to get to Rye, grab some brekkie and take a blast back. It's £9.99 to get in usually but if you arrive on a bike it's free entry I have been told and you get access to the entire grounds.

I'll meet you at Rye . The cafe at Headcorn Aerodrome is a good place to meet/eat plenty to see there . A good war aircraft museum too.

Just checked the GP website & theres nothing there about free admission for bikes

    http://www.groombridge.co.uk/visitor.htm

Maybe you are thinking of THIS event which was LAST year.

There is the same event this Sunday but I can find no mention of free entries for bikes.
