Can't ride my new bike cause feet DEFINITELY do not touch the ground. Crash bungs put on last weekend, but mechanic/fabricator not available til this Saturday to lower the bike.

So I am DAILY spending 2 hours PER WAY going into a job per day that won't cover my bus fare!!! (Can you tell I just received my contract for this new job and it wasn't 'as advertised' - not a happy bunny!):fume::bhead::mad::fume::bhead::mad::fume::bhead::mad::fume::bhead::mad::fume::bhead::mad:

If anyone says 'think of the money Yappa/at least you have a job' I will personally fly over there and forehead slap you! :wlash::hbag:

IF its not as advertised, then say so. If you set a precedence now, things will only get worse :(

Rachelle, if you want, I can check with my sister where she got her dogbone from.
She's in melbourne and rides a cbr600rr, but she is 5'1 and she couldn't touch the ground until she got it lowered.
...thats if your fabricator/mechanic goes awol...

Thanks guys . Have tender hooks on the final start date on an A&E job in my local hospital (not like George's though) but still better than this current job. So decided to tell them I'm 'reading over the contract' for my shifts for the next 2 weeks then tell them no thanks! Kinda mean, but at least money now til I get the better work!

Ohhh that'd be SENSATIONAL!!! Can you also mind rape her and ask what website she uses for parts / clothing (e.g. filters etc) cause there is hardly anything when you google stuff, and anything else that would help us out! Everyone I've spoken to just orders stuff from the UK. I'd owe you a beer for it. I'm happy for you to give her my email address if it's easier (rachelle@assimtech.com)

    THANK YOU :TY: :TY:

It's a single dogbone I think. Another way is to turn or change triangles if you have them?
Ignore this if it's a SV 650, should have two.

Yeah it's got 2 dogbones, but the stuff you see online just looks so flimsy and dodgey! It's a GSX650F. Also don't have any tools or paddock stands or anything as yet. Hoping that metal fab guy can do, but may have to resort to using bodies with strong arm muscles as rear paddock stands! LOL

Amazing that he was also one of the youngest cast members of Dads army too. He was only 48 when they started filming.

Looking for vids to add to the Striple for sale thread, got caught watching them instead.

Now I miss riding even more.

I called the hospital today to find out what was going on, as the cramp relief op can't happen until the other op is done (which i've heard nothing about still), seems the surgeon doing the 1st op has now left and I was missed in the hand over. FML.
