It isn't raining; I have a limited pass for this morning and the beginning of the afternoon and am desperate to try to remember how to ride my bike. I do have to be in Pluckley by 2pm but would anyone be interested in an early lunch at Wesson's? I'll dream up a route from there to Pluckley (near Ashford) and can drop off there. Any takers?
    Signed, PanelHermit

What sort of time are you planning to be at Wessons?

Couldn't make this. Mother-in-law's birthday and I'd promised to buy her a new broom stick. :witch:

Gee, guys (and gal...) that was a decent turnout for a truly last minute invitation on my part. A nice dry day (albeit with some minor rivers crossing some of the downhill bends - not that Tom noticed, I'm sure) and it was good to see Leila, Fergy, Tom, SteveeP, MadProf and Tony, who braved a hang-over to venture out. For the three of you who even more bravely consented to follow me into the depths and wilds of haunted Pluckley, well done, and now you know where is the Dering Arms (good fish and a nice pint on Sundays) and where my Mum lives. Actually, she was very disappointed that you all needed to be on your way before having a cuppa, but then you've never before been mentally attacked by a 93-year old with a mind like a razor. I quite understand your reluctance!

Great to see you all and I am now on Cloud 9 because I remembered how to pedal my bike. It's like riding a... Ahem. ;)

Ditto, was great to see you all albeit briefly. Had a nice little ride home from Wessons despite slightly damp roads!
