First day back at work after just over 1 year, im knackered, in a good way ..... Really enjoyed having a structure to my day and getting back out there again... :bounce:

Not having so much free time is gonna make me use spare time more efficiently, in theory :D.

    This made me smile today,

It is not often I praise something or someone, but this deserves a mention, My faith somewhat returned in a Large British Company, (is it now British was it ever).

I upgraded to Loin on iMac a few weeks ago, and one day not long after I needed to print some labels on my trusty old Dymo Labelwriter 320, 10 yr old give or take a few yrs,,,,,(more ike13 yrs),,, and guess what Printer driver error, o
k not the first time, just sort out the drivers, nope, needs upgrading, Dymo Support here I come, YEP new software update, downloaded for Loin, installed, and NOOOOO it says my unit is not compatble, double checked although unit was compatable, certain S/N units were not :(

Well it is 10 + yr old, guess I will have to buy a new one, but before I do contact support at Dymo see if there is to be another update for my unit in the pipeline . I emailed service support, and they even replied to my email with in an hour and confirmed my worse fears,

    "Dear Brett,

    Thank you for your email.

Well, since the machine is not compatible with OSX 10.7. Then there is sadly just one option
left and that is to replace the machine. For free.

What I need in order to be able to replace the machine is the following:
    - Serialnumber of the machine (Sequence 12345-1234567)
    - Date of purchase (if you have this information)
    - Address information (no P.O. Box)
    - Telephonenumber (Daytime)

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me again.

    Best Regards

    Mathias Haegglund
    Consumer Experience Representative
    DYMO Helpdesk"

    Must be April 1st.

I sent back the info, and yes they are replacing it FOC, they even gave me a pre paid postage for the Box to send back ( I even had the original box,, not bother looking for receipt.

Cut a long story short I received a unit back FOC today, after about week, and in my mitts I have a Brand New LabelWriter 450

Thank you Dymo, I am impressed, and you do deserve a mention :)
