    Great, thanks. As I'm new (ish) to the area, I'm guessing that this is the Esso on the A229 as you come down the hill towards Maidstone? If it is, I'll see you there at 08:00, no problem. I'll be on a big grey (and quite loud) tractor <<<<<. :)

    Might be ok now but best use cash if you fill up there as they were heavily involved in card cloning a while back.

    I'm hoping to be at 1066 about 9:00 for breckie. But will then head north or west for a ride 'til it rains. :MC::rain:

    Ditto Jim. I can't be arsed to ride to Hastings (slowly due to the attentions of Plod no doubt) so that I can then get stressed trying to find a place to park the bike, just to then stand around and look at other bikes. Yawn. I'll head North / East after breakfast to find some twisty B roads and aim to be back home for lunch with a smile on my face :).

    See you at 1066 at 09:00 ish. If you're there first, save some seats. Mine's tea, white, one sugar... and a full English breakfast. Could you cut my bacon into small pieces please? I find chewing tiresome. Ta.

    Well you got the tea, had to get your own sugar. That's halfway there!

    Sorry - just seen this. At least we had the run from 1066 :MC:

    Nice run, thanks guys. We even avoided most of the rain :)

    Great ride today - thanks to all who came. Nice pace, some good roads, totally 'Police-free' and topped off with plenty of tea.

    Here are a couple of pics from 1066 & Chalet cafe;

    Those of us that did venture in to Hastings had a good day I think....then went on to Rye via a rather circuitous route due to the A259 being closed at Winchelsea (bike smash).
    Coffee's in Rye then we went out seperate ways.

    Lost - I've met you before, although I was riding the old ZX9R last time. Don't knock my penchant for scooters - I've always been a sucker for the smell of two-stroke!
