maybe i will add a few

slacks top tip = use some locking glue to the important nuts and bolts
my top tip = have a friend who knows what they are doing near by and invest in some copper grease

Don,t use locking glue, use silicone. Antivibe and easier to remove .

Copper grease EVERYTHING! (Except the rough side of brake pads and maybe the inside of the petrol tank )

AC 50 anything that's outside and isn't brake related, it'll smoke like hell when you first ride the bike after but won't rust.

Clean your chain before lubing it, no one (especially O rings) likes grinding paste.

Remove the slack from your throttle cable for easier in town riding and more predictible power delivery.

Actually perform your routine checks: Oil, tyres, cables, etc.

    More after coffee.

Try not to hit yourself, or something else. Including ratchets or spanners slipping off and you punching ground ... Just put a pillow down or something, You know it will happen.

May be obvious but if doing maintenance check bolts are tightened to proper torque value's and stuff :/ thats about it.

You could possibly rephrase that to "Be sure the socket head / spanner is correctly seated before you apply pressure to it, so you don't round off the head or punch the ground." Rather than dragging the bed clothes onto the driveway ;)

It does bring up a handy (and often missed) tip though:

When tightening / loosening lateral bolts (side mounted), always apply the weight downwards, this stops unfortunate things like the bike being pushed off it's side stand / paddock stand - easily done as anyone who's changed a front sprocket will testify.
