only know those localish to me,
    red lion in hooe
    the bull at boreham street
    the swan at netherfield

but as is the norm for country pubs they are that big so any more than 25/30 of us and they would struggle to cope.
could try the greenman at ringmer but thats along way for any on from east kent / london

What about a harvester/beefeater type of pub, think there is one in Sevenoaks.

If you fancy a chinese, theres always the Wok Inn at Ringmer. Bloody lovely food down there & they have a huge function room upstairs.

Carpenters Arms, Hadlow. Great gastropub style food and proper nice setting.

The Little Brown Jug at Chiddingstone Causeway is nice, although maybe a way off from TW.

It's a nice ride from T/Wells (ie. there are bends and few straights) and really not so far: 15 minutes proceeding in a stately fashion. It's part of a favourite ride of mine actually. I confess I've never eaten there though.

Brookers oast next to the Hop Farm Paddock Wood. It's large, it's a Brewers Fayre and any idiot could find it.
