Could you not just trace the alarm wires and rejoin the loom where it's been spliced?

Got one on the daytona, freebie, courtesy of Sturdey's being a little bit forgetful in checking the original datatool before selling it too me 'with an alarm'.

My brother removed my meta on my SV650. He had to remove it from the loom and reconnect the wires together. Took him about 2 hours! but he done it with no training beforehand lol

he removed it cuz it decided to just die meaning my bike wouldn't start. i rang meta and was told my alarm was 10 years old and needed replacing. they wanted over £400 for a new one so i had my brother remove it.

Here is a fitting guide for the M357 to you.

Removal is the reverse of installation.... I think:confused:

    Hope it's useful....

tend to find alot of issues caused by failing backup batteries.. most of them are little nicd/nimh battery units soldered into large cells. they give up after a while and spill their guts and the resulting mess shorts terminals and corrodes the traces on the pcb... had a similar issue witht the solalarm on the ninja.. i took the control box out, cracked it open and clean up all the traces and corroded components and works a charm now... still need to make a suitable nimh backup battery for it but works fine without just wont work when disconnected from battery
