Not going to make it either. Too windy to make riding fun and no car to use today either. Hopefully catch you all soon though :)

Unfortunately Rod and I won't be there either, there's been an accident on M20 J4 and the surrounding roads are choc-a-block so I've turned around (couldn't even reach Rod's house, let alone BB).

Hopefully catch up next month peeps!

Great turnout, though I only counted 7 bikes when me, Deano and Kelvin left. Nice to see some new faces and some old ones that I haven't seen for a few months. Interesting scenic ride there, via Hawkhurst , Pashley Manor, Wadhurst , Lamberhurst, Horsemonden and Matfield, but bloody ell it was dark. Couldn't see my speedo on the way back either, sorry Dean !!!

The wind was gusting like crazy from the side as I returned north on the A-21 and it was a bit of a struggle to stay in one lane. Then I realised I wasn't proceeding at a permissable rate of knots having concentrated too hard on the traffic management trucks emerging from the next door service station with flashing yellow arrows instead of keeping an eye on the bike's numerical escalation counter. [ahem] :red::oops:

I've never visited the BB before - probably because it's only a hop, skip and a jump from my front door: why would I stop? 'Course, there's a good reason now, every month. I recommend the lamb shank... :eat:

As Gary and Alan mentioned, a very good turnout, especially considering the crummy weather. Great to see you all and my repeated apologies for failing to turn out (at all) in the recent past.

Sue: hang in there, girl! It cheered me up no end tonight, seeing you on the mend.

no probs alan, i was watching the speedo and we were travelling along at a very comfortable pace ;) . wasnt too bad on thw way back, wind picked up as we got to rye and the camber road was interesting to say the least  . pretty gusty as we rode past the sea wall. managed to get home via camber road fine as they had put out the fire by the time we got home... as alan said, good turnout , nice evening hopefully the weather will be favourable on the next one :D

Good to see you all last night, as alan said there were a few Brave/Stupid (delete as necessary) on bikes. Thanks alan for showing us the way and glad you listed where we went as I didnt have a clue, It was "interesting" on the way home with the wind, and my headlight bulb failed so had to drive with main beam only and that was picking out the tree tops and not the road!.
I think Zoe (pink lady) must have sportys sat nav as she took the long way round to get to the BB, hope you got home ok. and love the new bike!!![IMG][IMG]

Was a good evening & a good turn out considering the weather. Sue really enjoyed herself having been stuck in the house for most of the last couple of weeks. Was good to meet Nikko1135 as well .

Funny moment of the evening was Graham whizzing off to look for Zoe, only for her to arrive 2 minutes after he left. facepalm.gif
